JARS Cannabis was founded in 2020 with a mission to connect communities through affordable and accessible products. Driven by a desire to increase access to licensed cannabis products, the founders began by purchasing an East Detroit caregiver center. The facility was quickly transformed into a licensed medical dispensary which became known as the first JARS Cannabis retail store and would mark the beginning of the company's rapid expansion across the state of Michigan.
